Pebble Beach is one of the best golf courses to hold a major championship. It takes thought and planning off the tee box to position yourself in the fairway to attack the greens. A person with patience and the smarts to lay back on certain holes will do very well. With the new groove rule a person MUST play from the fairway to be able to hold the greens and attack the flags. Look for a veteran to play well this week.
